2. - The Sculptor

Step 2 takes the project off of the paper and we engage with the

sculptor.

At Monument Projects we have worked with many extremely talented

sculptors in the past and each has their own style of work. If you don't

have a sculptor in mind we will prepare a shortlist and give examples

of previous work before a collective decision is taken on  who to

commision.

 

Of course by only working with the best, sometimes these talented artists have extremely full order books and we have to go back to the time plan to decide if we can wait for a particular sculptor or choose another one who is less busy whilst maintaining the absolute quality we demand, rest assured we will always advise the customer what we think is the best course of action based on our experience.

At the end of stage 2 (depending on the type of project and the size) we would normally present an artists proof Maquette, this is an opportunity to closely examine every detail and if happy sign off on the next step.
